NFT FC

UI & Web Design
Project Description
Create a website for NFT FC that showcases the product and its features. The website is made to help customers understand how the product works and how it benefits both football players and fans.
My Contributions
As the founder of this project I had a great understanding of the product and how it benefits both players and fans. It was my job to create the UI for the website to help potential users better understand the website.

The goal of the website was to drive traffic to an early access sign up page that would be later used to show potential investors traction, before the product had been developed.

As the core purpose of the website was to drive traffic to the early access sign up page, I needed to make sure the product was easy to understand and showcased well.

Most people find anything related to the blockchain hard to understand so I used visuals and simply terminology to my advantage. I created diagrams and also used product imagery to help show users how the customer actually worked and used simple terminology to showcase the apps core features and benefits.

It was also my job to collate frequently asked questions from customers we had and filter them down into an FAQ section at the bottom of the home page. This would help clear up any confusion and also give users the additional information they needed.
Wireframes
Low fidelity wireframing
The biggest challenge for this build was figuring out a site map that would simplify all of the information but also explain it well. As blockchain products can be hard to understand for the everyday person, my decision behind keeping the website structure minimal was made with the psychology of choice in mind. Having too much information and words can cause mental fatigue in customers due to excessive and repetitive copy.

As there are 2 core users for this product, players and fans, I decided to include 2 seperate pages that would outline the benefits to each individual user. The landing page was used to show how the product worked and its main features. Its main purpose is to make users want to learn more and click through to their respective page that highlighted the apps benefits. From here the goal was to sell the apps benefits and then to have them sign up for early access.
Design choices
Theory and decision making
As there tends to be a backlash against blockchain products, due to the unfortunate amount of scams that appear in the space, my goal with this website was to show its ethical cause. Providing support to players is our number one focus, second to providing benefits to the fans that support them. With this in mind, I highlighted the information of providing support to players first as users tend to rely heavily on the information they see first.

How information gets presented can significantly influence decision-making. It would have been easy to provide as much information on how the product works as possible, however this would overload the user. I decided to take the time to create a bunch of aesthetically pleasing diagrams that helped to simplify how the product worked instead.

As you can probably see on the website, the only buttons are links to the sign up page. Other links throughout the website aren't buttons but rather links that animate with an underline. My reasoning behind this was to making it as simple as possible for our users to complete our desired action of signing up to our early access page, rather than getting lost with other buttons that link elsewhere.
End product
User journey
The end product was the result of many months of work and speaking with customers to learn how best to help them understand the product. Complex blockchain terminology left customers confused, and lots of text left them overwhelmed with information.

What helped was simplifying blockchain language, creating easy to understand diagrams and also using common behavioural science to not overwhelm customers with information on the website.
