NFT FC APP

The project is the development of a mobile application that allows soccer fans to rate upcoming player videos in a Tik Tok-style feed. The app's main function is to aggregate ratings from users to identify the highest-rated players each month and support them on their journey to becoming a professional soccer player.

The app is designed to engage soccer fans in a fun and interactive way while also providing a platform for up-and-coming players to showcase their skills. Users can browse through a feed of videos submitted by players and rate them on a scale of 1 to 10. The app will then calculate the average rating for each player, and the players with the highest average ratings will be featured as the "Top Players" of the month.

The app will also include features that allow players to create profiles, upload their videos, and track their progress over time. The app will be integrated with social media platforms to allow users to share and promote their favorite players' videos.

Overall, the goal of this project is to create a fun and engaging platform for soccer fans to discover new talent and support up-and-coming players. The app aims to provide an opportunity for players to showcase their skills to a wider audience and get recognition for their hard work.

Extensive research was conducted in the development of this soccer player rating app, which included interviews with users, both fans, and players, and an analysis of other sports apps. The goal of the research was to gain insights into the needs and preferences of soccer fans and players and identify key features that would make the app both engaging and user-friendly.

We conducted interviews with soccer fans and players to understand their preferences and pain points when it comes to discovering new talent and tracking player progress. Insights from these interviews helped shape the design of the app, including features such as the ability to rate players, track progress, and create player profiles.

I took the time to analyze other sports apps, including social media platforms and player rating apps from other sports. This analysis helped identify successful features from other apps that could be adapted to meet the needs of the soccer fan and player community. This led to the development of the app's Tik Tok-style feed, which was inspired by the success of similar features in other social media platforms.

From speaking with the NFT FC community, we decided that to best represent our target market, we need 3 different persona's.

Each user has an invested interest in football, whether it be as a player, fan or parent of a child who plays. Their goals and needs differ slightly however most of their pain points surrounding technology and specifically NFT's, are the same.

Most of the backlash against NFT's in the football community can be boiled down to a lack of understanding of what they are or how to use them. This is the main reason we've chosen to build on Flow, as it offers a 2 click sign up and purchasing with a credit card, a much simpler alternative to Ethereum.

The final UX/UI design is the result of a comprehensive design process that aimed to create an engaging and user-friendly platform for soccer fans and players. The design features a Tik Tok-style feed that allows users to browse through videos submitted by players and rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. The app also includes features that allow players to create profiles, upload their videos, and track their progress over time. The design was informed by insights gained through extensive research, including interviews with users and analysis of other sports apps. The final design of the app provides a unique and interactive platform for soccer fans to discover new talent and support up-and-coming players.
